If you’re juggling family, work, everyday stress and have with limited time for yourself, your movement practice needs to be satisfying and SPOT ON.
When you arrive for class, this is the 1 hour of your day that is JUST for you.
Under empathetic and expert guidance, you will be lead through a practice that helps your mind and body arrive at the same place, at the same time.
As you practice becoming more present, your batteries start recharging.
When you feel more full of yourself, from the inside out, you’re more available to give.
The goal is always the same - to help you ARRIVE.
As I sense the main mood as you arrive, we’ll co-create a class that supports bringing your nervous system more into balance through mindful movement, awareness and lots of breathing.
Private yoga helps you to NOT leave yourself behind.
In a 1-on-1 scenario, once you block “private yoga” on your schedule, you’re allowing yourself to be held accountable and will feel more compelled (and happy!) to honor your commitment to reclaiming your health.
My goal is to candidly welcome you, just as you are, and hold you accountable for showing up ready to engage and do what you can.

PRESENCE
Modern life encourages us to remain busy and distracted. When you have SPACE to experience a few moments of presence IN THE PRESENCE of another human, it can feel like a great relief.
Real human presence creates a field that supports the establishment of a relationship of mutual trust and respect.
Let’s look eye to eye and create the conditions for a meaningful and impactful exchange, online or in-person.

Once presence is established, you become more open to the experience of your own bodily sensations, thoughts and emotions, allowing you to dive a bit deeper.
My purpose as a teacher is to listen to what you say and observe how your body responds. Each session is co-created and will follow your unique flow.
As a result of allowing your nervous system to be tracked, you will sense more connectedness to your own experience.
EXPERTISE
My approach to deep somatic private yoga is a blend which draws from the many specialized trainings I’ve taken throughout the past 14 years.
In addition to holding a graduate degree in psychology (2008, Brazil), I’ve studied extensively yoga psychology, therapeutic yoga, classical tantra yoga, Somatic Experiencing (in training), mindfulness and breathing techniques.
I feel grateful to have so many yoga tools under my belt to serve my clients the best way I know I can.

We do an initial intake where I ask a lot of questions about what your body and what you wish to explore.
You might be completely new at exploring more embodied practices, or has already had some meaningful and satisfying experience with yoga movement.

I then design a 12 session somatic private yoga program based on your specific requests. One session at a time, I attentively observe how you move, open, breathe, ache, struggle and resist.
You’re now becoming reacquainted with your body, refining your ability to sense and feel, from the inside out. To most, this is a coming back filled with relief. To some, it’s their first time being fully in their own skin.
